Traction named Talent Management Team of the Year

This is an especially meaningful recognition for the team here at Traction. When we hit the reset button on our agency back in 2019, we changed our mission to "Reinventing the agency model by aligning the experience clients need with the experience talent wants."
The main innovation we put in place to achieve this was to come up with a new way of managing talent–we call it the "Liquid Workforce."
The Agency of the Year awards recognizes inspiring leadership, creative excellence, and outstanding business performance at agencies across the U.S. This year’s program garnered a stellar crop of entries from agencies making groundbreaking and business-moving work for clients.
Entries were evaluated by a panel of brand marketers, led by jury chair Kofi Amoo-Gottfried, CMO at Doordash. These marketers work with agencies daily and are in the best position to evaluate their successes in the past year.
Traction submitted our entry under the Talent Management category highlighting our mentality that, "The agency model is broken. So we designed a new one."
As a finalist for this award, we distinguished ourselves in team management by replacing traditional agency models with a Liquid Workforce driven by values of progress, passion, collaboration, and integrity. Our team's adaptability, passion, and commitment to exceeding client expectations are evident in our approach. Strategic initiatives like the 100% remote work model and The Futureproof Project, a collaboration with CMOs and technologists, have propelled Traction's business growth, doubling revenue expanding the client roster by 30%, and establishing Traction as a thought leader in AI-driven marketing innovation.

In a recent State of Generative AI Survey by risk management platform Portal26, 68% of respondents in the marketing, media and sales categories believed generative AI would give their organization a significant competitive advantage.
