A few years ago, we said goodbye to the Traction office to lower overhead and give our employees and contractors the flexibility they desire. Since then, we’ve had almost zero turnover.

Traction has been a pioneer for social justice benefits. We’ve been called snowflakes (and much worse) for the stands we’ve taken on issues we believe in, but we believe that corporate social responsibility means a lot.

Days of Action
Employees are encouraged to take two days of paid leave every year to participate in democracy, however they see fit. Democracy is a participatory institution, not something that happens to us every four years, so we’re proud to support the civic engagement of our team.
LGBTQ+ Rescue Reimbursement
It is unfortunate that a number of states are taking steps to criminalize people for simply being themselves or supporting their loved ones. Traction will reimburse employees who need to relocate from states to flee legalized persecution by up to $5,000.
Reproductive Healthcare Reimbursement
Womens’ right to make decisions about their own bodies is simply fundamental. Traction will reimburse employees for interstate travel expenses up to $2,000 if they or their spouse need to have an abortion, but live in a state where it has been made illegal.
