Big Wins at the 2016 BMA B2 Awards
By Traction
Traction won big in the Business Marketing Association's 2016 B2 Awards in Chicago!
Our agency was awarded an Award of Excellence for Small Agency of the Year Under $25 Million and picked up two other awards for the work we've done for Lenovo over the past year.
We were especially honored to earn recognition as a top agency in a year that the BMA received a record 274 entries from agencies across the United States. The overall winner for Small Agency of the Year was Stein IAS (the winner for the previous two years) and the other runner up was Quarry. These guys represent the best there is in the business-to-business, so it's an honor to be included with them for the work we do in our b2b practice—which accounts for about a third of our business.
For Lenovo, our "Users Happen" campaign won in the categories for Best Integrated Communications Program ($1 million - $5 million) and Best Video Production (Under 5:00). We couldn't produce such great and successful work without our amazing clients at Lenovo —Steve Barnard, Mike Ballard, and Ed Lanphear—and our partners—our media partner, Levelwing , and our production partner, Criminal .
Also, wanted to thank our other b2b clients at Dolby, California Bank & Trust, Virtustream, Forgerock and Apple, without whom we could never have been honored with this acknowledgement of our work.
This honor comes on the heels of us being a Small Agency of the Year finalist in the iMedia Awards three years in a row, an iMedia Independent Agency of the Year winner, and an Ad Age Small Agency of the Year silver award winner, all over the past three years. I think I speak for everyone at Traction when I say how flattered and grateful we have been for this consistent industry recognition.
Brands are finding new ways to remove shopping hassles to make consumers’ lives easier.
It's no secret that advertising is getting harder. There's been an explosion in the number of touch points, and the cost and complexity of achieving scale has ballooned accordingly.
Traction has won not only 1, not 2, but 3 Communicator Awards!
